Mensur Porovic - Acrylic - Landscape

55 x 46 cm

Mensur Porovic was born 1961, in Prijepolje. Art school and studies he finished in Sarajevo, 1982.
Some subconsciousness impulses of Mensur Porovic's inspirations we may find in the paintings of Franz Kline as well in the abstract painting of Hans Hartung. But in the neither of them we can find such dynamism recognized in the paintings of Mensur Porovic, so that here we can speak of overtaking already finished forms. For the paintings of Franz Kline and Hans Hartung is only that sound stimulation that has revived the Porovic's spirit, making his hands move into their creative undertakings and getting shaped according to the regulations deriving from the very being of the artist.

The paintings of Mensur Porovic are those permeated by powerful gestures, releasing the power of vitality as an outstanding and recognizable characteristics of him. - Vojislav Vujanovic
