Preparation
Batter:
Prepare the batter with curd, semolina, green chillies, onions, ginger, grated coconut, salt adding required quantity of water. Keep it aside for 10-15 min before preparing the dosas. The batter should be thick.
Dosa:
Preheat the pan, add 1-2 tsp. oil, then add 2 ladles full of dosa-batter. Spread in circular fashion. The dosas should be round in shape and of medium consistency. The flame should be medium. Keep the pan covered for 1-2 min. After 1-2 min, open the lid/cover. Cook over a steady flame both sides till brown. Serve hot along with either red or green chutney.
