The Best World's Vegetarian, Vegan and Macrobiotic Recipes

Ingredients:

1/2 Kale
1 Turnip of middle size
1 Big or 2 smaller Carrots
1 Onion
1/2 Cup (or less) of tomato juice or 1 fresh tomato
Basil
Salt

 
First separate bigger kale leaves, wash them one by one, and then wash the rest of kale. Remove thick middle from big leaves.  

Put water in bigger pot for cook and when it starts boiling add chopped kale leaves. Leave it for cooking around 5 minutes, or till leaves become softer.

 

 
Strain the water from kale.  
Cut turnip and carrot on slices. Turnip can be cut on sticks after.  
Peal and cut onion on thin slices.  
Peal and cut potato on half then on quarter and if it is bigger then once more. Let all pieces be around same size.  
Fry for short onion to become softier, and then add kale. Fry it together for 2 minutes.  
Add carrot, turnip and potatoes. Mix it all and add water.

 
Add tomato juice and then add more water.
Add enough water to cover all vegetables. Add around 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Put top cover that all vegetables can be cooked uniformly. After 15 minutes of cooking, add basil or some other spice which you love.  
Depending on pan which you are using, time of cooking differ. The best way to know is this delicious and healthy meal cooked to try potatoes with fork. For cooking in wok with top cover, it takes around 20 minutes.  
Note: Kale is rich with calcium. It is highly recommended to people with Osteoporosis, and it has the same importance for health like other hard green leaf vegetable - borecole.
