TOFU
PASTE WITH SUNFLOWER SEEDS

Ingredients: 150g
tofu |

Cut 150g of tofu on bigger slices. | |

Put slices in boiling water and leave it for cooking around 2 to 3 minutes. Boiling water will neutralize bitter taste of tofu, and paste will have milder and more pleasant taste.

Sunflower seeds shortly fry in pan for dry frying, so that seeds become crispy, but take care they not burn and not get sour taste. | |

Grind sunflower seeds into powder in multipractic mixer or in blander. | |

Add boiled tofu and grind together to become fine paste. | |

Add 1,5 tbs. minced parsley leaves.

And 2 tsp. of umeboshi vinegar. If you not have umeboshi vinegar, then you can add 1/3 tsp of umeboshi paste and by wish apple vinegar. Together all mix till paste become mixed equal. | |

On
the end you get paste practical for every day eating. It can be eaten for
breakfast and for dinner. Smeared on rye or wheat integral bread represent
good combination of grain and bean which is necessary in macrobiotic way
of eating. It can stay for few days in the fridge. |

It can be eaten with simple salad like beetroot salad or with combination some other vegetable salads. Then you get fully macrobiotic meal. Of course this cant be change for lunch, but when you not have time for cooking sometimes can be good dinner or breakfast. |
